A Dream Song

 IF ONLY



A few months ago I've done watched one of the Disney movies titled "Descendants" it was a very recommended movie. It has been the 3rd season since 2019, and some source speaks that the 4th season may release next year but it is just a kind of expectation for sure. Do not expect too much because great movies always ghosting the fans, that's a fact.

Descendant is a musical fantasy adventure-comedy based on Disney Channel's Descendants trilogy featuring its hit song and characters. A lot of soundtracks are good songs that succeed in representing the scene. 

A short, my favorite one of it is "If Only" by Dove Cameron as Mal. It has a deep meaning inside, not only about a romance but a life it was. For me, this song was so related, especially in the lyrics "I can't decide, what's wrong, what's right, which way should I go". Sometimes we are faced with one more choice and got confused about which way should we choose. Between mind and heart gives different reasons for each choice.

In the middle of confusion, we meet someone we fall in. Someone who gives us butterflies in our stomachs, but sadly the feeling ain't help that stress between them and possibly adding more stress on ourself. It is a very messed up situation, feeling, mind, and life. Which one we should go on? So I think this is the meaning of that song. A Confusion.
